BrowserStack MCP Server is the vendor-maintained server connecting the BrowserStack test platform to MCP clients such as Cursor and Claude. It covers the workflow a quality-assurance engineer runs on that platform: creating and managing test cases, launching manual test sessions on real browsers and devices, triggering automated test runs, retrieving results, and inspecting failures — logs, screenshots and session recordings — so the model can reason about why a test failed. Because the client is usually an IDE assistant with access to the repository, the loop extends past diagnosis: the model reads the failing test output from BrowserStack and edits the code or the test in the same session. Accessibility testing is included, reflecting BrowserStack's accessibility scanning product. All of it is driven in plain English rather than through the BrowserStack dashboard or its REST API. The server is TypeScript, published on npm as @browserstack/mcp-server, and requires BrowserStack credentials, so it is only useful with a BrowserStack subscription. The audience is teams already running their cross-browser and device testing on BrowserStack who want test execution and triage available inside the editor where the fix will be written.
