Microsoft Clarity MCP Server connects Clarity, Microsoft's free web-analytics and session-recording product, to MCP clients such as Claude Desktop and Visual Studio Code. Analytics tools query the metrics Clarity collects: traffic figures, user-behaviour insights such as rage clicks and dead clicks, and performance statistics, with filtering across dimensions including browser, device and country so a question can be narrowed to a specific segment. Session-recording retrieval is the distinctive part — Clarity records real user sessions, and being able to pull them into an analysis conversation means a model can reason about how users actually moved through a page rather than only about aggregate numbers. Data is fetched on demand, so answers reflect current project state. A documentation tool answers questions from Clarity's own documentation, which reduces the common failure of a model inventing metric definitions or API behaviour. The interface is natural-language querying, so no Clarity API syntax needs to be learned. The server is TypeScript and maintained in the Microsoft GitHub organisation, which means it tracks the product rather than being a third-party wrapper. The audience is product managers, designers and analysts investigating how users behave on a site, particularly where the useful evidence is a recording rather than a chart.
