The repository is structured as a monorepo containing three main packages: the core runtime environment (SRE) which acts as the kernel managing resources and orchestrating agents; the SDK which provides a developer-friendly, type-safe API for building and running agents; and the CLI tool that facilitates project scaffolding and management. SmythOS supports advanced features like real-time streaming responses, conversational memory in chat mode, and loading agents from .smyth files. Overall, SmythOS aims to simplify the development, deployment, and management of AI agents by providing a comprehensive, secure, and scalable operating system tailored for agentic AI applications.
